Arsenal, Leicester and Man United all want Dembele – but Barca make first move

first_img Ousmane Dembele in action for Rennes Barcelona have opened the bidding for Arsenal, Leicester and Manchester United target Ousmane Dembele – but their £27m offer was snubbed by Rennes.According to France Football, Barca made their move with a solid offer but the French club knocked it back with other big clubs in Europe now set for a summer auction.The trio of English clubs hold an interest in Dembele while Bayern Munich are also big fans of the teenage midfielder.The report also states that Manchester City are keeping tabs on the situation and could make a move for him too.However, it is Barcelona who firmed up their interest first after sporting director Robert Fernandez watched him in person earlier this month when the 18-year-old scored a hat-trick in the 4-1 win over Nantes.It is unclear how much Rennes want to pocket for the sale of Dembele but they hold a strong hand in the negotiations given the youngster only signed his first professional deal – which lasts for three years – in October. 1last_img
